Nathalie Quintane--from Shoes, p.4
Sometimes, in a forest, at the edge of a trail, I come across an abandoned shoe.
A shoe appears much larger to me, when I lie flat on my stomach before it.
Pressing my two feet close against one another, I am able to stand upright on a very small surface.
Lying down, raising my foot high, I manage to cover up the sun.
