That here majorettes can deny their swindling hearts
& let crepe’d staffs represent the greater aortic arch
looping through the national character. It is little wonder.
It’s time for cougar hockey to take the field!
The regional champs have been transformed into the aged
civil servants they may become down the road:
Nurse, fire fighter, policeman & soldier.
Lots of the boys are dressed like surgeons too.
Look, it’s jason kirkpatrick, he is chinese-american,
now a small telephone repairman & the crowd,
they love his hard hat, too large on his funny head.
In this dome it is a home away from home;
the avuncular barry manilow better for the orange foundation
in the television camera. Oh sit on his lap!
